The concept behind the wine
Aria is a Bianco Veneto IGT created to challenge time.
This box set brings together two expressions of the same wine: the cellar-aged version and a highly limited selection of bottles aged in the sea.
After an initial journey through wood and amphora, only 32 bottles are immersed in the sea for one year, at controlled depth, where unique conditions of pressure, darkness, and constant movement guide their evolution.
The result is a dialogue between two environments: on one side, the continuity of the cellar; on the other, the silent transformation of the sea.
An experience designed to be discovered through comparison, where each glass reveals a different nuance of the same origin.
A limited edition, created for those who want to go beyond tasting and truly understand the transformation of wine through time and space.
Tasting notes
The special Aria box allows you to explore the nuances that arise from aging in two different environments.
The cellar-aged version expresses a broader, more structured profile, where spicy notes of saffron emerge alongside delicate floral hints and a balanced freshness.
The sea-aged version, on the other hand, stands out for its greater finesse and verticality: the aromas become more subtle, with citrus notes and a light saline touch, while the palate is more vibrant and dynamic.
Tasting them side by side offers a unique experience, allowing you to fully understand how the environment can transform the expression of a wine, revealing two souls of the same origin.
Winemaking technique
After a short drying period of approximately 20 days, the selected grapes undergo skin-contact maceration in the press, a step that allows the full aromatic richness and complexity of the skins to be captured.
Fermentation takes place in wood, where the wine gains structure and delicate toasted nuances. This is followed by one month of aging in amphora, contributing to balance and freshness.
At the end of this process, only a highly limited selection of 32 bottles is destined for sea aging for 12 months: here, in darkness, under pressure and constant movement, the wine evolves slowly, developing a new expression—more subtle, sapid, and dynamic.
