Winemaking technique

Fresh grapes undergo soft crushing followed by fermentation in steel tanks using indigenous yeasts. A portion of the wine is aged in cherry wood tonneaux while another portion rests in stainless steel tanks in contact with the fine lees for approximately 7 months. The two batches are blended at the bottling stage. Our Valpolicella rests for a minimum of 6 months after bottling before being released to the market.

One night, Siridio lies on the hill, gazing up at the stars. Suddenly, he is struck by an idea as absurd as it is courageous. He wants to reach a star!

Will he make it? It’s a silly question because in that magical moment where inspiration rules, that star is already in his hands.

Just like our hero, inspiration drove me to create Siridia, an emotion I’ve sought to capture in my Valpolicella wine.

Tasting Notes

The Valpolicella Classico Siridia originates from the pressing of our main indigenous grapes: Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella with the addition of 5% Molinara.

Molinara is a native grape of this area that enhances the sensation of minerality and freshness. This characterizes our Valpolicella, making it extremely versatile

The Valpolicella Classico Ispirazione displays a ruby red color, bright and of light intensity.

Its fresh, easy-drinking character with long persistence evokes fruity notes of crisp red berries, particularly cherry and marasca cherry. This is followed by a slight spicy nuance reminiscent of black pepper given by Corvinone.

It is perfect as an aperitif wine because of its easy-drinking nature. It pairs very well with cured meats and lightly aged cheeses, as well as with lightly structured first courses.

On warm days, we suggest serving it at around 12°-13°C.
