Siridia Wins Best Of Wine Tourism 2027 Award: Innovation Meets Valpolicella

Wine tasting as a journey of awareness, wine as a means of connection, and respect for the land as a guiding principle. Cantina Siridia receives the “Innovative Wine Tourism Experiences” award, recognising a contemporary vision of wine and its deep connection with Valpolicella.

Some awards celebrate an achievement, while others recognise a vision. For Cantina Siridia, the “Innovative Wine Tourism Experiences” award at Best Of Wine Tourism 2027 represents both: recognition of a journey built over time and confirmation of our distinctive approach to wine, hospitality and the territory.

The award was presented on 9 October 2026 by the Verona Chamber of Commerce during the tenth edition of Best Of Wine Tourism, an initiative celebrating wineries and businesses that stand out for their quality, creativity and innovation in wine tourism.

The official jury’s statement highlights Siridia’s ability to transform wine tasting into a journey guided by the philosophy of Winefulness, through pioneering products and an approach that places particular emphasis on protecting biodiversity and respecting the Valpolicella region.

This recognition fills us with pride because it reflects what we have always believed: wine is not simply something to taste, but an experience to live, explore and remember.

Winefulness: Experiencing Wine with Awareness

For us, welcoming a guest means offering much more than a wine tasting. It means guiding them through a discovery of new sensations, stories and perspectives, leaving room for curiosity and the opportunity to establish a personal connection with every glass.

This is the idea behind Winefulness, the philosophy at the heart of our wine tourism experiences. Wine tasting becomes a moment of presence and awareness, an invitation to slow down, engage the senses and immerse oneself in everything wine has to tell.

Our approach draws inspiration from the Hero’s Journey, a narrative structure in which every stage represents a step forward, a discovery and an opportunity for transformation. In the same way, each wine guides our guests through a story of aromas, flavours, emotions and meanings, making every experience unique and personal.

Because truly understanding a wine is not simply about identifying its characteristics, but about connecting with its identity and the world from which it comes.

Innovation Rooted in Tradition

Cantina Siridia was founded by siblings Samuela and Edoardo Speri, driven by the desire to tell the story of Valpolicella from a fresh perspective, bringing together the heritage of tradition and a contemporary spirit of exploration.

This vision also takes shape in our products, expressions of curiosity, creativity and the freedom to explore new interpretations of winemaking.

Among them are the first Amaro made from dried Amarone grapes, a Vermouth produced from red wine made with dried Amarone grapes, our sea-aged wines, and Astris, our Traditional Method sparkling wine that brings together Pinot Noir and Corvina.

Different projects, united by the desire to explore new possibilities without losing sight of our origins. Each creation becomes another way of telling the story of Valpolicella, demonstrating how a region with such a strong identity can continue to evolve through new ideas, research and sensitivity. For us, innovation does not mean moving away from tradition. It means finding new ways to interpret it, keeping it alive, relevant and capable of connecting with today’s world.

Respect for Valpolicella as Our Starting Point

Research and innovation become truly meaningful when they are accompanied by a genuine sense of responsibility towards the place where they take shape.

The official award citation also recognises Siridia’s commitment to biodiversity and respect for the local environment, highlighting our approach based on zero additional land consumption.

This is a fundamental part of our vision: creating new wine tourism experiences also means considering how to enhance the landscape without compromising its natural balance.

Valpolicella is much more than the place where our wines are born. It is a heritage of relationships, natural features and cultural identity that guides our work and inspires our decisions.

Telling its story authentically means recognising its value, respecting its unique characteristics and helping to build a more conscious relationship between wine, people and the environment.

An Award That Looks Towards the Future

For us, Best Of Wine Tourism 2027 represents an important milestone, but above all, an encouragement to continue along the path we have chosen.

It is a recognition of our vision of wine tourism: an experience that engages, surprises and leaves a lasting impression long after the final sip.

We are delighted that our philosophy has been recognised within an initiative that promotes excellence and innovation among wine tourism businesses in the Verona region.

The award also brings a new opportunity to share our approach to wine beyond our local area. The Verona winners of Best Of Wine Tourism 2027 are, in fact, candidates to represent Verona in the international competition organised by the Great Wine Capitals Global Network.

We will continue to work with curiosity, respect and a desire to explore, always keeping at the heart of our journey what has guided us from the very beginning: creating wines and experiences that tell the story of Valpolicella with authenticity, opening up new perspectives while remaining true to our roots.

Welcome to the world of Siridia, where every tasting is a journey and every glass is an opportunity to discover something new.
